LUCIFER

I wish I could say that there is only one example where Christianity has misunderstood and incorrectly interpreted ancient Spiritual Wisdom. But such is not the case. For many, the truth about Lucifer is complicated to digest, and religion created blind and passive individuals for centuries. Faith was and is the excuse for ignorance, and we are allowing lies to control our existence. Religious books are all screwed up and full of contradictions. Lucifer is seen as bad and good, and there are all sorts of other angels and demons, but you can sort through all the contradictions and see that the truth is hidden there. There are no good or evil people; there are just those that know the truth and those that do not. The battle between good and evil is a battle between truth and deception, nothing more, nothing less. It is time to open our eyes and discover "that" truth. From a historical point of view, the story about Lucifer makes no sense. He makes His appearance in the fourteenth chapter of the Old Testament book of Isaiah, in the twelfth verse, and nowhere else:

"How you are fallen from heaven, O Day Star, son of Dawn!

How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low!

You said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven;

I will raise my throne above the stars of God;

I will sit on the mount of assembly on the heights of Zaphon;

I will ascend to the tops of the clouds,

I will make myself like the Most High’" (Isaiah 14:12-14).

It wasn’t until the year 1611 when the King James Version of the Bible was published that the word Lucifer started to become synonymous with Satan. This stems directly from the choice of words used in the English version of Isaiah 14:12-15, which I think is worth quoting:

“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!

How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

For thou hast said in thine heart, ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God:

I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds:

I will be like the most High.’

Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.” (Isaiah 14:12-15)

In the original Hebrew text, the fourteenth chapter of Isaiah is not about a fallen angel, but about a fallen Babylonian king, presented in his pride, splendor, and fall, who during his lifetime had persecuted the children of Israel. However, it is to the power behind the evil Babylonian king that this is addressed. It contains no mention of Satan, Lucifer, or the Devil either by name or reference. Some early Christian scribes, writing in Latin, the Church language,  had decided for themselves to create the story about this fallen angel becoming the ruler of hell and to bring fear into our lives. The scholars authorized by King James I, translated the Bible into current English not using the original Hebrew texts, but the versions translated largely by St. Jerome in the fourth century. The Judeo/Christian Bible certainly doesn't appear to be as old as it is believed to be, and neither is that program they call "religion". Regardless of what the popular history books claim,  it appears that Christianity arrived on the scene with the Inquisition, especially in Europe. This is nearly identical in every aspect to a communist takeover, where mass murder, torture, and deprivation of even the most basic of human rights are instituted. That was the time when all the pagan deities were demonized and transformed into the enemy of the Church.

Lucifer is a Latin name and the Roman language did not exist when the Hebrew manuscript was written.  So how did it find its way into a Hebrew manuscript, written before there was a Roman language? So, why Lucifer? In Roman astronomy, Lucifer was the name given to Venus, called also the morning star because it appears in the sky just before dawn, heralding the rising sun. The name derives from the Latin term “lucem ferre”, which means “bringer, or bearer, of light”. Light and Darkness have forever been used as an analogy for Knowledge and Ignorance (respectively), the term Light-Bearer, therefore, refers to the bringing of knowledge. Even Socrates and Plato talk about  Lucifer as “God of Light”. This information can be found in Plato’s Timaeus (38e) and in Edith Hamilton’s Mythology ."

Ironically the “Devil” the prince of darkness is the bringer of Light! The irony for those who believe that "Lucifer" refers to the Devil is that the same title ('morning star' or 'light-bearer') is used to refer to Jesus, in 2 Peter 1:19, where the Greek text has exactly the same term: 'phos-phoros' 'light-bearer.' This is also the term used for Jesus in Revelation 22:16.

In the Hebrew text, the expression used to describe the Babylonian king before his death is Helal, son of Shahar, which can best be translated as "Daystar, son of the Dawn." In ancient Canaanite mythology, the morning star is pictured as a god, Attar, who attempted to occupy the throne of Ba'al and, finding he was unable to do so, descended and ruled the underworld. The original myth may have been about a lesser god Helel trying to dethrone the Canaanite high god El who lived on a mountain to the north.

In Etruscan mythology, Venus was considered the most beautiful of the spirits and identified with the Morning Star and probably with Aphrodite. Venus, the brightest light visible from Earth, consists of a large proportion of sulphuric acid, similar to that in the center of the Earth, the reputed dregs of Lucifer.

Lucifer is of the Roman Latin strain, so it is only appropriate that Lucifer's proper name has His mythological roots in ancient Etruscan and Roman mythology. The Goddess Venus feminine gender, Lucifer / Venus are masculine/feminine duality.

The same duality of the Roman legend of Diana the Moon Goddess, the wife of Lucifer the Creator, and the God of Light. (The light of Lucifer, the spark of the Black Flame, and the Darkness of the Black Moon, Diana) So it may be to Diana’s Moon, as to Lucifer's light, in Medieval Italian witch lore... The luminous light of Venus, and Lucifer, illustrate the duality that was typical in Roman mythology.

Lucifer is the spirit of human progress, the fight to learn and grow, to be independent and proud and spiritually free. He is the enlightener of our soul. He is the spirit of knowledge, intelligence, and love.

The radiant presence of Lucifer has been obscured by ignorance for centuries.

There was a time when pagan traditions were honoring the deities Diana/Lucifera or Isis/Lucifer to signify their power to illuminate mind and soul, to open up our being to higher consciousness. Of course to the ignorant, all pagan gods are still "demonic" or "evil". A great example would be the nature of God Pan becoming the image of Satan with hooves and horns. In other words, The Devil.

Manly P. Hall said this about Lucifer in his book, All-Seeing Eye; “Lucifer represents the individual intellect and will which rebels against the domination of Nature and attempts to maintain itself contrary to natural impulse. Lucifer, in the form of Venus, is the morning star spoken of in Revelation, which is to be given to those who overcome the world.”

Just as Lucifer is known as the morning star, Jesus also calls himself ‘the morning star’ and as I stated above, Manly P. Hall had said, “Lucifer, in the form of Venus, is the morning star spoken of in Revelation, which is to be given to those who overcome the world.”  Hence, rest assured that Jesus and Lucifer are one and the same which will become evident to those with an eye to see the true light amongst the darkness in which we live.

The reason why both Lucifer and Jesus can be considered the same is because of an often little-understood chemical compound that is hidden within each of our DNA called ‘Phosphorus.’ Phosphorus is essential for life and the phosphate is a component of DNA, RNA, ATP, and also the phospholipids that form all cell membranes.

Simply put, without phosphorus, we humans would simply not be human because consciousness and our spiritual energy would not exist. It is through our DNA which contains phosphorus, that we become conscious of the world and who we are to live in the light. Hence, Lucifer is an allegory to describe ‘Phosphorus’ which resides in our DNA.

The literal meaning of phosphorus (Phosp-Horus = Lucifer) is “Light-Bringer.”

Many believe the devil is a living creature, something with horns and a pointed tail, a cosmic criminal. It is a metaphor for our animal minds, lower passions, and primordial instincts. It is just a name created to describe the forces of deception in our lives, the adversary of our mind, the beast within. There is only one deceiver. Ourself and that is what prevents us from seeing the truth and life,  from being whole and enlightened. Until your mind is transformed into your helper, your guardian, the mind is your mortal enemy, the enemy of truth and life, and the enemy of your soul.

The mind is what the Bible calls Satan, Lucifer, and the devil, your adversary. “Devil” is evil with a letter added to turn a condition into a thing. That thing is your mind. Its presence works to keep you separated from the truth and true life. Your mind will use its control over the tap that turns the water of life on and off to stay in control and get more control. Very often we see Satan, Lucifer, Pan, Baphomet, and more be connected as one, but that cannot be further from the truth. Each one of them is a specific deity holding deep meaning and long history. Many people mistakenly think that Lucifer is Satan and vice versa, but the facts are that is simply not true. This misinformation, conspiracies, and lies have been propagated to the people through many books and movies to the point today, that most people equate Lucifer with Satan or evil. Hopefully, you have an open mind and will get past this propaganda, for you to discover the truth. I AM sure this is the case or else most likely you wouldn’t be reading this article.
